Faults on Toshiba and OCZ Hard Drives

I have one USB HDD from Toshiba. Details of HDD – TOSHIBA Disk Drive – MQ01ABD100M, Drive Rev – AZA BB00/AX101U.
This HDD is not being detected. I have checked with local IT guys but they are saying that the top platter has scratches on it so the data can not be recover but only top plattter has scratches so I still have hope if I show it to any Big DRR firm like you then you can recover the data from below platters hence I would like to check with you if you can recover the data from this HDD. They have already tried with heads from different hard disk of same model but unfortunately it is not working.
Important thing here is I don’t have any issues with the HDD if it is wasted but the data contains in the disk is very important for me if you can give me that data back then It is fine for me.
What would be estimated expense for this repairing you can tell me rough figure.
As this is my personal HDD and not belongs to any Business firm, I can not afford high cost.
Hence please help me here at first about estimated cost to get the data recover from this dead HDD. If it is affordable for me then I will go ahead with the recovery option also please let me know if you start your data recovery process then what is assurance of I will get my data back?

ssd and hdd

Fire damage to power connector on PCB. I transferred files to a hard drive then did a reset on my laptop. Seems I only transferred copies of the files and now they won’t open. Is there anyway to get these files back. Or are they gone completley

The main hard drive, a OCZ 100MB SSD, has stopped being recognised by my (desktop) computer, and so will no longer boot. I would like to recover the files on the drive – ideally the whole drive, but my users folder at the very least. I’m Twickenham based, and I see you have a clinic in Richmond – please could I arrange a callback to discuss this?
