Testing a new data recovery specialist in the UK

I have a Buffalo Ministation Air HDWP500U3. Which wont load on a windows or MAc. I have ran a data recovery tool and can see there is still data on it. I copied some data on this had and then it started to become inaccessible and very slow reading. Then I tried to scan it and fixed some bads and copy the data to another one. I couldn’t copy much as it become more and more hard to access.
Now it is not visible in the system anymore.
It was opened by somebody else but didn’t manage to recover the data.

External iomega 500G drive failing to mount and clicking? contains approx 400G of data mainly image files and I’d like if possible for data to be recovered and transfered to new drive. I have two external hardrives about 5 years old

Parts inside a hard driveI have removed then from there external case because they were not powering up. I need to get all the data off them and out it one one haeddrive

Clicking noise, HDD not visible in system: WD30EZRX. With the Buffalo MiniStation I’m looking to find a decent data recovery company (Ed: Look not further!), and the files on the Iomega hard drive should be recoverable too. It’s a Seagate 1TB portable hard-drive and is only a month old. It was working fine until I unplugged it from one laptop and attached to it to another. Since then it hasn’t worked, it shows up in disk management as not initalised and shows a capacity of 0 bytes.
And now it’s started making a beeping noise when it’s plugged in. I’ve attempted to use recovery software but it’s no help because the drive doesn’t show up in the scan. Does this mean the data can’t be rescued ?

Maxtor (OneTouch)
When HardDrive was connected it would hum / click, but PC would not recognise or connect.
I’ve opened the casing and noted that the hard-drive does not spin nor do the heads move from the centrally locked position. The hard-drive has photographs stored on them and i would dearly like to have them retrieved as cost effectively as possible, please.

Note: I’m trialing the services of Data Recovery Tips – an UK hard drive and phone recovery specialist. I’ll let you know how they get on in getting the data from the above storage devices back.

Help and Advice in Data Recovery

There now follows some of the latest enquiries from people requiring a data recovery service. Either from a NAS or single hard drive. My recommendation is to check out various data recovery blogs online (such as this one) or go to a well established data recovery firm who know what they’re doing. In the UK I’d recommend the services of Data Clinic Ltd, for both hard drive and NAS recovery.

Drive appears in NAS Navigator as in EM mode, will not accept firmware flash. Drive 1 showed as faulty last week, replaced drive, new drive would not accept RAID, Drive 2 showed critical bad sectors, now partition not found

Western Digital My Passport hard drivesIts formatted to Mac, the drive recieves power and lights up but doesn’t initialise or show in the finder window. Its an old drive.
I would like to switch the data to a new drive. Do you also sell good portables?

make : toshiba
model : MK5056GSY
HDD CODE : HDD2E61 F VL01 T
FIRMWARE : A0/LH003C

My hardrive is hardly one month old but it has stopped working. I plugged it in today and it makes that beeping noise.
I have all my company’s files in it and I need to access them asap! I don’t have a back up so I’m not in the best position.
Please let me know if you can help, how long it would take and how much it would cost me.

My seagate 2tb external hard drive is not connecting and making a beeping sound.
I was wondering how much data recovery would cost?

I was wondering if I would be able to recover any possible deleted data from my USB drive. I last accessed the files on Thursday but when I went to look today I noticed that the folder I kept them in was gone. I’m not sure if ive simply accidentally deleted them or there are other issues with the drive. If you could give me a call back on the number provided it would be much appreciated.

I have a Western Digital External USB drive (its powered by USB). After two years, I plugged it in to retrieve a file, it worked just fine. However, since then its not visible in Disk Utility or Finder on my mac, or indeed any (tried 4 other) macs.

External hard drive not working. I have a hard drive of which the disk has broken. I have had it looked at before but I am wanting a second opinion. It is a WD my passport. It is full of photos that I was told could not be recovered.
Do you think you could help ?
